Beyond 400 ppm, the earth's temperature will increase with about 1°C for each 22 ppm additional increase in CO2 content. 2) The current CO2 level of 400 ppm will eventually lead to a sea level rise of approx. 25 m. Beyond 400 ppm, the sea level will increase with approx. 1 m for each 4 ppm additional increase in CO2 content. 3) It will cost approx. 40,000 billion USD (50% of the worlds GNP) to replace all fossil fuels with renewable energy. With additional investments, the atmospheric CO2 content can be stabilised and even reduced.< Less
