hot pot & undying imaginary flower By matthew topartzer

this is my first book.. took years to work on, whilst discovering many writing styles, whilst struggling with life, and myself. i took a great confidence, or leap, that a musicality could be found in... More > all kinds of phrasings. and so, yes, you will find music, you will find humor, candor, sorrow, love, joy, friendships, secrets, all within rhythms that i cannot explain. there was no outright surrealist gesture that was made in the making of this work, but i soon found a kinship with writers such as mallarme, breton, duchamp, that was after it was finished. as well as some brilliant female writers such as gertrude stein and susan howe. 'hot pot' is itself, and done through the use of humor and non-sequiturs. the second book included entitled 'undying imaginary flower' is a comedic and rather crude reflex which shows the endearing qualities of man/woman relationships, as well as exploring the possibility of love within sexual stupidity. all in all, i hope someone checks this out.< Less

Prints in 3-5 business days
part of a long-poem written by Ganick in a South End, Hartford CT cafe. this book is part two of a projected 16 volumes. Sheila E. Murphy writes of RAC: "A principled uncertainly proposes... More > hypotheses, examines each with a cool calculus infused with depth of feeling. One of the welcome ironies of this extended text is the centrality of a pressurized short segment that stands discernibly as a focal gem. Peter Ganick’s disciplined attention to the situational mystique reveals that single points of focus enrich the whole mental field with meaning. Here, a fine, musical ear sharpened by considerable and continual study and experience, trusts the occupation of a locus, finds a panoply of linkages embedded within situations to yield concise renderings of surfaces and their multiple under-layers as a recognition of infinity."  < Less
