A catalog of 40 small tapestries from the exhibit "NWxSE: A Collaborative Small Tapestry Project." The tapestries were first on exhibit at the Gaston County Museum of Art & History in... More > Dallas, North Carolina. The tapestries were then displayed at the Harbor History Museum in Gig Harbor, Washington. The tapestries were created by weavers from the Tapestry Weavers of Puget Sound (TAPS) and Tapestry Weavers South (TWS). The requirements as established by the two organizations required that the small tapestries be woven to a maximum size of 12" x 12". Many of the tapestries represent the northwest and southeast regions where the weavers reside. The skill and artistry of the TAPS and TWS weavers is evident in these beautiful, intricate small tapestries.< Less
