Phosphenes was written to bring the very real human aspect to focus, as well as raise donations to the humans affected by the tragedy that was the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. We wanted Phosphenes -- a book of 17-syllable haikus -- to be artful, simple, and beautiful – just like each of the 17 unique lives lost. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the victims' families through the Broward Education Foundation.< Less
