More > (USA) and the European Union (EU) (International Best Practice) also exist in the construction industry in Lesotho. The study found that construction is inherently a highly dangerous industry which still accounts for most accidents when compared to other industries. Generally the study revealed that Lesotho needs to do more to make its workplace-related accidents statistics known. This will help in comparison studies to see how companies are performing in terms of risk management. Determination of bridge foundation conditions with this approach may be applied to quantify losses in foundation stiffness caused by earthquake, scour, and impact events. Identification of bridge foundation type may be employed to estimate bridge stability and vulnerability under dead and live load ratings, particularly for unknown bridge foundations.
