The Objects of Desire exhibit was featured at the Museum of Design Atlanta from Feb. 12th until March 13th. It showcased works produced via computer-aided manufacturing processes, challenging forms... More > and aesthetics that were previously inconceivable. These were manifested into physical objects directly from digital models. The works exhibited originated as architectural experiments in spatial interaction. Participants were asked to evoke a parallelism between the perception of the individual and the perceived object. Each piece highlights issues such as topology, structure, pattern, fabrication, and detailing. It also brings to the forefront integral considerations embedded within the process as well as the product. Arseni (Senya) Zaitsev, Founder and Creative Director of Anonymous Studio, organized, contributed and curated Objects of Desire. Anonymous Studio helps bring innovative ideas to reality through experiments in architecture, design, fabrication, material research and management.< Less
