In section 1 of the Constitutional Reform Act it refers to "the existing constitutional principle of the rule of law" however, there is no statutory definition of the rule of law and there... More > is considerable scholarly disagreement about what exactly the term means. The House of Lords Constitution Committee stated in its report on Relations between the executive, the judiciary and Parliament in July 2007 that "the rule of law remains a complex and in some respects uncertain concept." I hope to address this today as it's not at all complex unless you create legislation that is not constitutional. I see several Acts, Bills and legislation that are not created for the people but alas for the elite and Corporations – that's complex. It is my belief that if legislation made by Government is unconstitutional then it should be morally and legally struck down in a court of Law.< Less
The United States Government Is Illegitimate By Robert G. Beard, Jr., C.P.A., C.G.M.A., J.D., LL.M.
Hardcover: $59.99

This book is a draft of chapter one of Mr. Beard’s dissertation, The Impact of Constitutional Interpretation on Individual Freedom. He was kicked out of the J.S.D. program by a Dean, who... More > graduated from Harvard Law, because this project was, to put it politely, “politically incorrect;” justification was that it would not contribute anything new or important to the existing scholarship. Once the Dean was no longer at the law school, Mr. Beard’s supervisor and co-faculty director of the program invited him back to finish this project. The purpose of this dissertation is to explain how power-elites and branches of government have reinterpreted the U.S. Constitution to increase government power and authority at the expense of individual freedom. There are only two ways to interpret the U.S. Constitution: (1) Under the freedom doctrine; or, (2) as a master-slave relationship, which is what has been going on for the past 100 years. If Americans are not slaves, then the U.S. Government is Illegitimate.< Less

The international community needs to take a new approach regarding assistance and development ventures for fragile states. Few would quarrel with the view that current methods are incredibly... More > expensive, wasteful, susceptible to corruption and less than effective in the long run. Much is written about the necessity of Security Sector Reform, Disaster Response, and Humanitarian Assistance as the means to lifting struggling states out of the pit of despair. However, the vast majority of the literature only numbs the reader with laundry lists of goals, considerations, and requirements; little is written on how to organize the assistance effort. There is also a large assumption, not borne out by practice, that cooperation and coordination among states, among organizations, and even among domestic agencies are frictionless if they all share a common goal.< Less
