Sarvastivada Literature By Anukul Chandra Banerjee
Paperback: $6.42
Prints in 3-5 business days
Classic study on the history and literature of the Sarvastivada Buddhist school in ancient Northern India. The part of most enduring importance is the detailed paraphrase summary including references... More > to the Tibetan translation of the Sarvastivada Vinayavastu. It should be noted that Banerjee here has not seperated 'Sarvastivadin' from 'Mulasarvastivadin' texts, which is probably for the best in a work of this sort because the nature of the distinction (if it was really a distinction at all) is very ambiguous and still subject to inconclusive debate. Apparently pages 24 to 89 are missing from this pdf, apologies for this. If you're desperate for the complete file, I may have the missing pages in jpeg format on backup disc, email me.< Less
