More > After this early start, she became more interested in reciting and being in plays than in writing poetry. During high school, she wrote and kept poems in a small folder. This new book contains much more of her collection, including the poems already published. Connie writes in rhyme, free verse and blank verse, and has tried her hand at writing haiku and Shakespearean sonnets. She’s also written some short stories, but poetry is her passion.< Less
