Nevertheless the chief offender was ordered to pay a fine – which he never did; while Bokov was given a two-month deferred sentence and also ordered to pay a fine. He appealed, and the hearing took place on the 26 February 2013. Bokov exercised his right to conduct his own defense, but the President of the Court made this impossible by openly mocking him and refusing to let him complete his statement. The hearing was adjourned until September 2013. The statement Bokov was prevented from delivering in the Court of Appeal at the Palais de Justice in Paris on 26 February 2013 now follows.< Less
