This calendar was created out of a fine art printmaking portfolio exchange organized by Diana Eicher at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Each artist was asked to created a print based on... More > her birthday month surrounding the topics of women, aging and the media. Each artist received a copy of the original portfolio. The original print portfolio was displayed at the Mid-America Print Council Conference in Fargo, North Dakota, in October 2008.

photo-polymer, photo-linocuts, engraved, (derived from even
earlier drawings: collapsed, hollowed-out graphic art
narratives -- restrained figure re-drawings -- interlocking
parting wakes), multiple block-printed, water-based
lino-inks/extenders, gauche, acrylic, color pencil, stencils
on individually inked/painted, collaged, (archival
bookbinding pastes), and mechanically compressed, thin,
