Thi project was made in collaboration with Tata and his wife, Lenie, a couple who immigrated together with their 3 children, to Dumaguete in 2002 from Zamboanga in the Moslem region of the country. Both sell towels as a means of livelihood. 100 anonymous people were asked to use the towels and wipe off their sweat. Each towel was then embroidered using red thread with the nickname of each of the participants. Sweet Memories: The Public Intervention is a photographic documentation of an action that took place in Dumaguete City, Philippines in October 2008.< Less
