International scholars came together to debate the potential and efficacy of this emerging critical framework. Keynote addresses included those from Devon Carbado, David Gillborn, Kevin Hylton and Ann Phoenix. This major international conference considered the relevance of CRT to our understanding of core issues concerning ‘race’, racism, racialisation, gender, class, sexuality, age and disability in the UK and in other European countries.< Less
