The Scholar Ship (www.thescholarship.com) is a fascinating concept in higher education. Sadly, in the months following our Spring 2008 journey, The Scholar Ship ceased operations. Thus, as of this... More > writing, The Scholar Ship is no more. A more complete and exhilarating educational vessel has never put to sea, but, alas, operating a university on the high seas is financially riskier than asking a pirate to safeguard your piggy bank. Though The Scholar Ship may be gone, it will never be forgotten. In my opinion, global educational initiatives, such as The Scholar Ship, represent the future of international education. Thus, I feel safe in believing that The Scholar Ship is not really “gone,” it is simply experiencing a brief hiatus. Perhaps I’m wearing rose-colored glasses, but I look forward (a few years down the road) to the re-launching of The Scholarship: bigger, better, and more fun than ever. ISBN 978-0-557-05006-2< Less

This book has a collection of poems that can show you there is always someone who understands. Someone who can relate or makes you think about a current situation in your life. I wrote this book to... More > show a different side to life. I do not see life through rose colored glasses. I like to tell the real story. Some poems are based off of my own experiences in life while others are just about what I saw on the news that day. There is a poem in here for everyone. Even if you are not going through a bad time in your life you can relate to some of these poems. If any of these poems make you rethink something you said or did or even change your perspective on something, I have done my job. These poems show the world in a light that not many are used to seeing. I prefer to show people the world I always see. The life I have been living or the life I have grown used to being brought up in. This world can be an interesting and frustrating place. I wanted to make this book to show you and many others Life As I Know It.< Less
