Following the first official meeting, provisional membership was granted to what the aliens called the Galactic Council. Teams of experts began to leave, whilst alien workers started to appear on Earth, helping to prepare for full membership.
There was also a clamour by ordinary people wanting to venture out into space, so a series of galactic cruise liners were hurriedly chartered to cope with the demand. Places on these ships were however expensive, and even those with the means to afford them still had a long wait due to there restricted availability.
