From humble beginnings in a converted convent in Dorset, where we shared the car parking and the view with the Ryme Intrinsica chapter of the Wessex Hell’s Angels, FVBs has grown to be the finest and most ethical chain of vegetarian restaurants, bistros and cafes in the world.
In this sumptuously produced book we share with you some of the founding principles of the restaurants and some of our favourite menus and recipes.
We won’t share everything with you though, unlike our portions, we want to leave you wanting more and wanting to visit your nearest FVBs.
Remember, our aim is good, solid, ethical, tasty food, without slaughter.
