In this book is my story and my personal diaries that I kept. I have always been one to say how I felt at the time, so there are things I wrote when I was mad that I might not have written otherwise... More > and the diaries get quite personal. I’m pretty sure my teenage years are an accurate reflection of many other teenage girls and it’s interesting to see how it felt then and how growing up has changed things. It’s easy to reflect and see that nothing is ever as bad as it seems and to give it a few days and one doesn't feel the same way, usually.
I believe the teenage years are the hardest part of life for a girl and sadly it is also the time when we think we’re adults and know everything. A lot of things happened in my teen years, mostly having to do with boyfriends, family and friends and I too quickly got married (at sixteen years old) and had to grow up while being married to an older man. This made the teen years even tougher because I was forced to be grown up and confused about life at the same time.< Less
