We had the opportunity to walk up to and touch three icebergs, and even got to walk upon the Worthington Glacier, watching the eagles soar high about the tree tops carryring food back to the young ones in high up built nest. Watching bears in Hyder, Alaska wading in the wide, shallow river to catch salmon swimming up stream to spawn was most interesting. The bears would eat part of one salmon, drop it to catch a large one to snack upon. Camping was most enjoyable on our trip, setting up camp in out of the way state or providential campgrounds. The big draw backs was the very expensive gas purchased in Canada.< Less
