and NO this is not my first symphony! And not 'Symphony No. 1' but titled 'Symphony ONE' - that its name. But it should've been called 'Symphony En Saga' for the 17 year
legacy and struggle to put... More > it in this incredible 'Mahler-sized' final form. That struggle has
been won it IS published; now begins the road to recognition so that it may truly
exist in music. The three (yes 3!) prototypes of this work are behind me but I still love
the recording I made of its original chamber form in 1995-96, I may yet release that.
Meanwhile the search begins for that very special conductor/mentor who will introduce it to the world.

American Composer/pianist Michael Guy L'Ecluse also composes chamber and symphonic music with a jazz influence. Try his first quartet subtitled "S.Q. Blue" completed in 2010 in 2 movements... More > with a third Finale movement just added in 2011. This movement adds to the beautifully baroque/classical theme of the slow Largamente of the middle movement by ending the quartet with a wonderfully up-tempo and up-beat finale that was actually based on one of his best received jazz piano charts from the 1984 concert tour. It gives a very exciting finish to the quartet and should be a crowd pleaser. SQ Blue an eclectic fusion in 3 large sections. A very "jazz blues" influence, Celtic flavored with shades of a Bartok influence in movement #1. This is a new 2013 full-size study score (8.5x11)For performing groups a book of parts can be made at cost. Contact the composer from his Lulu storefront.
