More > have been confirmed in Indonesia, Vietnam and China. These sporadic human cases fall within the context of resurgent animal outbreaks of H5N1 disease across 18 countries since December 2007. Most of these outbreaks have occurred in poultry populations, including chickens, turkeys, geese, and ducks.
