Scott and Kelly were coworkers, they were friends, and now they are refugees in their own country. Oregon burns, and what remains is wild and unpredictable. Their only plan is to keep going. But they are not alone. There are the sick and dying, slowly losing their minds as they lose their bodies. There are the other refugees that flood the landscape, each trying to earn the right to live. And there is Tyme. Jacob Tyme’s message spreads like a virus across the Oregon countryside. He offers a respite from the pain. He offers joy, comfort, the life once lived before the bombs fell. There is no hope, there is no home, there is only the instinct to survive. But is the will to survive enough to endure the end?
