Guidance to Mankind

This book endeavours to present what, according to the Qur’an, constitutes a pious and morally sound life, how to shun the calls of evil, and how to respond to the unsettling trials and tribulations of life, such as death, loss, sorrow and disease, through which the depth of our faith in the unseen is tested. In doing so, the author has first outlined the elements of faith that provide a basis for the formation of a morally sound vision of life, and elucidated what deeds, according to the Qur’an, are good and what are evil. A person who follows the straight path of righteousness and avoids evil deeds and sin, is assured a commensurate reward in the afterlife – a goal that is the dream of every man and woman.
