Riding the hook is an interpretation and anthology of events written by a former Union Organizer. These events took place on the streets, work sites and in the homes of the building workers of Sydney, Australia during the 1980`s and 1990`s. It is a representation of the struggles and dangers faced by the workers and their families on a daily basis. A David and Goliath story concerning the dishonesty, fraud, bribery, violence and corruption in the hierarchy of the CFMEU, building developers, government and the underworld. This is a fight which continues today in the law courts of Australia.
