A review from Stephen Foster at BBC Radio Suffolk;
Shane's always had a great sense of humour and judging by the contents of his book Do You Do Any Wings? it's just as well.
If Sergio Leone hadn't got there first Shane's journal could have been titled The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I won't give too much away but in a nutshell it's the highs and lows of a year in the life of the Picture House Big Band starting with a gig in Felixstowe in January 2006 and ending 11 months later in Ipswich.
It's a wonderful insight into being a member of a local band and is full of the wit and wisdom of a man who's been there, got the T shirt and has now read the book.

"Pass the dry ice" Hugely entertaining tale of life as a pub band guitarist. Well-observed, laced with a dry and acid wit, yet expertly understated. Full of wry asides and wicked humour. Read this before attending your next gig and spare a thought for the 'turn'. Highly recommended.
