Oct 15, 2009"Hallelujah!" It's not true! All the good men are not gay, married, or in prison! Lela James discovers that true love is possible again, even after she's experienced being used, abused, and confused with prior relationships. Neil is the perfect salve for her wounded heart, offering unconditional affection and undeniable admiration. Amanda Broady is the woman waiting in the cut, casting jealous eyes at Neil and Lela and their happy union. After working with Neil for years and slowly finding herself infatuated with a successful, professional Black man for the first time in her life, this blond bombshell vows to get what she wants, and what she wants is Lela's man! I am proud to say that I loved Neil Johnston from page 1 all the way to page 178 of this book. Let's hear it for the good men of this world! Shani Greene-Dowdell does not... More > disappoint in this highly anticipated debut novel. I can't wait to read her newest work, Secrets of a Kept Woman. The excerpt included at the end of Keepin' It Tight was just enough to whet my pallet and leave me drooling for more!< Less
