"Bearing Up:Tragedy, Hope, and Age-Old Wisdom" I was able to read many of the stories from this compilation and I was so impressed! The young authors showed tremendous insight. Some stories caused me to laugh out loud while others made me weep. The students did a marvelous job of conveying all of the emotions of the characters in their stories and I felt that each author brought their own unique perspective and voice to each story. I heartily recommend this for anyone with young adults or for teachers who are trying to teach their students about the craft of writing. WELL DONE!
