It’s 1960 in Victoria Australia when Lee Barr, a ten year old from Melbourne is forced to move to the country with her parents so her father can find work on the farms. It’s in the rural town of Barunduda that Lee meets her new best friend Bronwyn, and is plunged into her horrifying childhood. Lee and Bronwyn must find an escape and build a new life for themselves. Follow Lee as she strives during a very homophobic era to live the life her heart longs for.
