This story is about a Native American girl named Aryl Rae. She lives with her Mother, Sweet Breeze and her Grandma, Noko. They live in a simple, traditional way. Noko teaches them about preparing food for the winter months and also how to enjoy life while work is being done. She guides her family with her gentle teachings that always show love and compassion. Complications arise that cause worry for Aryl. The Jingle Dress is sewn, but the 365 silver cones still hadn't arrived in the mail. The cones needed to be sewn to the dress, and attached with ribbon and a prayer for each. Grandma Noko reassured her that everything would work out the way it was supposed to. She encouraged Aryl to practice her dance steps and take her mind away from negative thoughts and worry. Noko walked to the orchard to ask the Creator for guidance, and was given the answer to the problem. Everything works out in a positive way through their faith.
