"FROM PHYSICS GRADUATE OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY" “If the message is that western physics is wrong, then everybody will agree, because it is widely accepted that modern physics has not yet found the explanation for the most important phenomena in the universe, and that its major triumphs refer to experiments where the present theories are not tested to their limits. An idea mentioned in the book is that light moves instantaneously, and that it takes time for impressions to reach us. I thought, before reading your book, that Special Relativity explains Michelson Morley. You have not referred to one of the pillars of the physics taught in universities, namely that a theory can be disproved by experimental evidence. One of the best known examples of this is the precession of the perihelion of the orbit of Mercury, which I think is regarded as disproving the three laws of mechanics to which you refer in your Chapter 1.” And why did I not refer to this pillar of modern physics?... More > Because it is wrong: the three laws of mechanics are correct even though there is precession of the perihelion of Mercury. There is another factor to be taken into account: namely that it takes time for observation of Mercury to sink into our mind. “The internet references that you are give are good for the reader. In particular, I like the formulas text to which you give the link as”< Less
