  I liked this a lot. It’s an interesting, fresh theme and I loved the Cypriot characters and culture. The characters are believable and likeable and the interaction between them keeps the story moving along at a good pace. The dialogue was very sharp and witty. I also liked the comedy elements. The way they are interspersed with moments of regret about her ex-boyfriend, make Helen a fully rounded character.

  This is a very original, quirky, slapstick romantic comedy that was very enjoyable. I loved the fourteen challenges. A light hearted, easy to read novel with very funny scenes and an unusual cultural twist in the vein of My Big Fat Greek Wedding or Bend It Like Beckham. It kind of reminded me of that great British comedy series, "The Worst Week of My Life," and I could see Fourteen Days Later becoming a terrifically funny and successful mini series or film.
