This is very original. A fresh voice in comedy. I would liken the author to a British version of Janet Evanovich, which I think we need more of in the UK. Amber Fox is a larger than life character who is more than capable of pulling off a series of novels. She is likeable, funny and feisty. The racy twists and turns in the plot are more than enough to keep readers on a rollercoaster ride. All that and romance to boot!

I loved this. It is a classic screwball type comedy with an energetic pace and an interesting plot full of suspense. I look forward to the sequel.

This is well written, neat and stylish, a modern comedy mystery which has a great deal of wit and humour. I was so immersed in the plot and adventures of Amber that I finished it in one day. Amber is a sassy and feisty character with a sweet side. She is a very funny narrator and has a deft way with words. I loved the romantic tension in a tug of war between two men. I had no idea which way the mystery was going to go because their were many turns in the plot to keep you guessing. When the story is finally wrapped up, you’ll be surpised! The only complaint I have is that I had to read it too quickly! If you love Janet Evanovich you’ll love this.
