A wild ride from start to finish. If you are, or know of a young sailor, Unto the Breach is a must read. The author takes the reader aboard the boat, to sit alongside the characters. One can feel the wind, the waves and the tension between the crew members as they are forced to rise to the challenge of their young lives. Well-researched and technically accurate, Unto the Breach will not disappoint.
A beautiful novel portraying teen dynamics challenged during a horrible adventure. It is so well written that I thought it would do a great job in a school curriculum. As an adult, I enjoyed the suspense, rythm and a peek into teenager discussions and values. Just fabulous !!!-
