TenSaimon's JETpack is a survival guide to English teaching when you have large classes of students who know very little. It's specifically aimed at Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in Japan, however ALTs in similar contexts (e.g. China, Korea or Taiwan) will find it equally useful, and the sections on putting EFL theory into practice in the classroom will be invaluable to any teacher teaching English to students who don't speak it yet. At 294 pages long and containing 101 photocopiable handouts my JETpack will last you a minimum of a year of class time even if you never repeat anything - I ran my whole ALT career with the activities in this book, and now you can too.

This is a book that should be on the desk of every language educator in Japan, if not the world. The amount of work that went into it is incredible. My students have enjoyed all of the activities in it. The illustrations were a big bonus. It is not only fun to read, but the unique illustrations really appealed to my students. All I can say is that this book has made my life much easier and my classes more enjoyable. Keep up the good work!
