A book of deep religious belief, and a working manual of Christianity.
Some readers will believe that A Way of the Cross for Those on Death Row is sacrilegious; some might argue “Remember, these folks were accused and found guilty of heinous crimes.”
Some of those who were found guilty were/are actually innocent, others have turned their lives around while in prison, and others have not changed positively at all. You and I are not the judge and jury here.
For some readers, entering into a prayer for inmates would be a stretch and for those sentenced to death, a virtual impossibility. To do so, however, is to believe that we possess all knowledge and that sentencing someone to death is moral and just.
The author asks the reader to follow this way of the cross with an open mind and a forgiving heart, letting themselves be transformed by the love of God and the example of Jesus Christ.
