A short story about a girl who comes from four generations of police officers. Alice finally finds the man of her dreams but he wants her to quit her job. Giving her an Ultimatum, him or her job. Alice has tried her entire life to get daddy's approval. He was upset he never had the son he wanted to pass on the family business of being a cop. Even when Alice became a cop her father still didn't seem proud of her.
