"Delving profoundly into the depths of the mind..." Never have so many universal truths been communicated so succinctly and illustrated so poignantly. Upon opening its cover, we wonder: are we Sonja? Are we the boy? Or, perhaps the most frightning possibility of all... are we the dog? By the last page it is clear that no one identity can describe the complex workings of the human psyche, and we are all in fact Sonja, boy, and dog. It is whether we allow Sonja to know us, the boy to frolick within us, or the dog to consume us that is the crux of this superb analysis of the tripartite nature of man.
