Architecture at the Scales of Geopolitics is a graphic novel investigating the design role of architecture vis-à-vis shifting scales of spatial politics. This publication is a result of an academic seminar with Srdjan Jovanović Weiss and graduate students in architecture at the University of Pennsylvania during the Spring of 2008.
The volume compiles graphic novels inspired by the work and statements of some of the selected intellectuals who dwell in between the East Coast of United States and Eastern European "coastal" territories. They include: Giorgio Agamben, Carlos Basualdo, Stefano Boeri, Jean-Francois Chevrier, Teddy Cruz, Eda Čufer, Keller Easterling, Yona Friedman, David Harvey, Jacques Herzog, Richard Holbrooke, Tony Judt, Thomas Keenan, Rem Koolhaas, Dan Perjovschi, Marjetica Potrč, Walid Raad, Bruce Schneider, Sam Weber, Eyal Weizman, Peter Lamborn Wilson, Lebbeus Woods, Želimir Žilnik and Slavoj Žižek.
