First section is an autobiography of my interest in astronomy from my teen years in the 1970's through college. Highlight of my college experience was meeting Clyde Tombaugh, the discoverer of Pluto. Bulk of book is an accumulation of notes taken while viewing through various telescopes, mostly an 8-inch, from the early 1980's to 1993. Among the observations are Halley's Comet, all of the Messier objects, and a number of objects from the NGC and IC as well as from other deep-sky catalogues. Events include the 1993 Texas Star Party and the 1993 Okie-Tex Star Party. 8.5 x 11. 154 pages. 4 page black and white photo section.
