Since 2000 Stanley Challenger Graham has been writing articles for the `Barnoldswick and Earby Times'. Now, 10 years on he has collated these articles into `Stanley's View' and published the books on This means that the texts (which cover many varied topics) are easily available and provide a wonderful compendium for Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas. There are also topics on current affairs, many of these are of global interest. The books are well illustrated by Stanley Graham's extensive collection of photographs. Perhaps the best ones show local people in every-day context. Many of the unusual local street scenes evoke memories of the past. Stanley Graham's writing is easy to read and always informative and entertaining. In each volume of `Stanley's View' there is a mix of subjects, the texts are in order of publishing date, so one follows another.
