A Road Well Traveled: Family History and Genealogy - Part I

ByStanley S. Glickstein

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book is divided into two parts. Part I provides historical information of my grandparents’ backgrounds. My grandfather Nathan (Barshefsky) Glickstein came from Rajgrod, Poland. My grandmother Bertha Hofrichter Lenchitz was from Powoloczyska, Austria. My grandfather Harry Lenchitz descended from the renowned Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim Luntshitz, better known as Kli Yakar. Part I also contains a detailed chronology of my personal life growing up in Brooklyn, New York to my arrival and life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Part II is a compendium of detailed information about family members and a genealogy dating from my forefathers, as far back as the 1500’s. It is hoped that this family history will become a stepping stone for my children and grandchildren to continue to maintain the strong family bond that guided and nourished me throughout my lifetime.
