"2257" 2257 & 2257A, labeled as "Child Pornography Legislation", would not seem to affect photographers of the adult figure, nude OR clothed. Think again, this legislation is aimed squarely at anyone who photographs an adult either explicitly or implicitly erotic (sexual contact or WHICH COULD BE INTERPRETED AS LASCIVIOUS). It affects you whether or not it is a commercial shot or even on your private hard drive (think about a repair person seeing it and reporting you to the FBI). This law is about record keeping, child porn producers won't keep any records but everybody else had better be familiar with the rules - it's potentially 5 years in jail for NOT KEEPING SPECIFIED RECORDS. I've been married 40+ years, taking an erotic photograph of my wife now subjects me to the possibility of 5 years in prison if I don't document her age and identity in the federally specified manner. "Guide ti 2257" This is the most comprehensive guide to 2257 to date. A must for any photographer that shoots nudes, or suggestive poses. Don't get caught in a world that you do not comprehend. This is a must have book for any of those who photograph nudes, or photograph suggestive poses with models. A working book that needs to be on every photographers list.
