This is a very nice children's book. I read it in the eBook format. It does have colorful illustrations so I do recommend using an eReader that has color if you choose to read it in the ebook format. This book is also available in paperback though. I thought the story was cute and very appropriate for young children. I can say I recommend it. It is not long at all at about 24 pages. I enjoyed the illustrations as well as the story. The story is essentially about a young frog and his mom. The youngster wants to be able to make music like the other creatures he sees outdoors. I won't say more. It is a fun children's book that I think kids would like. I did get an ebook copy of this book for free for review but this is my honest opinion. I do feel its a five star children's book.

Frankie Learns to Hum, is a great story. It is one that motivates a child. It teaches them to keep trying and not to give up while learning how to do something. It story is very well written and classy. The Illustrations complement the story they are both beautiful and unique. I found that the pages almost seem to turn themselves. By the end of the story you just want to hold little Frankie in your arms and tell him how good he did...

"What a Great Book!" This is a well written book that my children, and yes, myself will enjoy for years. Frankie finds out that not everyone can do everything, but still he does succeed in the end, with his mother help. The illustrations are a delight! What a cute frog! I recommend this book to anyone who has children of any age.

"Frankie learns to hum by Steve Drilling" This is an enchanting book for children. I particularly like the use of simple language with the odd more difficult word in the text to encourage children to try harder words. The story is a classic tale of finding a way of achieving something you didn't think you could do. Lovely!

"Frankie Hums" In his first book for children, here anyway, Steve Drilling teaches us that although we may not be able to do everything the same way that everyone else does that we all have our talents. He also shows us that to tap those talents takes a willingness to try new things and an ability to accept a failure once and awhile. But, as in life, sometimes "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again" actually works. Frankie Learns to Humm is a cute story helped along by coloful illustrations. Skip Ploss Author/Illustrator
