An Englishman in Vietnam

It is a little-known fact about the Vietnam War that there were a number of Englishmen out in the jungles supporting the American forces. These men were not army personnel but civilians, and they performed a vital function in providing American forces with expertise in the new arts of location and positioning. Above all these young Englishmen showed the Special Relationship at its purest, forming friendships which have lasted a lifetime.
