THE X SNATCHER by Patricia Harper 2006 Lulu I enjoyed this, Steve, although I was puzzled for a moment to read you were never going on a plane again with a virgin, but my "speed reading" had got me in to trouble again as the penny dropped. When's the court case coming up? Joking of course! Great stuff!..Typical Brit humour Typical Brit humor! by aurorawolf 2006 Lulu I'm still chuckling! This writing is hilarious, and I do love brilliant humor! ;-D I don't think I'll ever forget the scene on the plane where the narrator has a bathroom emergency . . . while still in his seat . . . and the stewardess comes by and asks if he wants anything to eat. Heh! The author's zany humor reminds me of Steven Pirie's Digging Up Donald, (Immanion Press), and also Mac the Weezol, by Tom Thorstenson (Publish America). Though at first, I was dumbfounded by how bold and seemingly 'incorrect' the humour was, it left me wanting more?like chocolate, it's deliciously bad. The twist and irony of this book is that though the humour is cutting edge and sometimes merciless, the author whom I came to know through his website www.smilieland.tv, is the kindest, most generous and helpful of people, which merely confirms the fact that he is a great creator of humourous stories. This book perfectly captures the spirit of the times we live in?it is a time caspule of sorts?A heck of a funny one! Excellent by Mark Taylor 2006 This collection is very good - short stories told in a conversation style, as a mate might do over a few pints in the pub.
