"Tandem Products: The Slim Conspiracy" This fast-paced medical thriller is a remarkable achievement for a first-time author. It comes complete with not just one, but two sets of bad guys engaging in industrial espionage between competing drug companies. The implcations for world health woven into the story by Slaton are wide-ranging and scary enough to make a Hollywood disaster movie seem tame. The characters are believable, though not drearily predictable. A good read! --- Stephen Clearheart Johnson

"The SLIM Conspiracy" The SLIM Conspiracy is a medical thriller that is a believable story concerning the dilemma between health and disease. Nikki Braun is a bright, compassionate college student at Colorado State University when tragedy strikes. This intriguing, pharmaceutical, international espionage story is set primarily in Northern Colorado. A complex story with many threads that are cleverly woven into a satisfying read. I couldn’t lay it down and am looking forward to the sequel. I had a career as an EMT, emergency medical technician, and felt safer in the ambulance. Dorothy J.

"The SLIM Conspiracy: TANDEM PRODUCT$" We trust the pharmaceutical industry to provide us the cure for natures evils, but what else are they providing us? Steve Slaton answers this question in a chilling fashion with his novel The SLIM Conspiracy. An action packed page-turner with realistic characters ranging from rich and powerful corporate executives to struggling college students, the story is eerily believable. The technical medical detail is present, but does not disrupt the story for the reader who lacks the appropriate background knowledge. Highly recommended to all who crave an exciting read! --Gordon Wichern--
