We intend in this volume, the final issue of C-SAP’s Why Social Science Matters series, to explore ways of exploiting the potential of ICT in a practical pedagogical rather than an abstract theoretical manner and we hope that colleagues new to the profession – or new to the use of IT in learning and teaching – will find many of the ideas and suggestions that follow helpful and inspiring.
