An easy yet thought-provoking read. This book is filled with advice and helpful exercises that bring the readers to discover (or acknowledge) what they want and how to get it. “Fan To Pro” is refreshingly action-oriented; it’s not just about thinking outside the box - it’s about actually getting out of the box. The recommendations are practical and real. This book speaks to fans in a tone of friendly positivity that is both inspiring and encouraging. Humanistic in its approach, its primary focus is on people and what they care about. Finally, a book about fandom by someone who is actually a fan.
I have to say this helped me a lot in the field of motivation and advice. This book did a good overall job with the delivery of the matter (in humorous way and structure), as well as the overall value of the information. I recommend the book if you wish to become a part of the video game industry.
