This book provides IMAGES only - of the miscellaneous documents housed in the N.C. State Archives (Raleigh) pertaining to the Regulation movement. These documents are NOT transcribed, but provide images of the documents. They are divided into 6 sections, following the categorization of the collection. These documents provide primary references to the State Militia. These are the men who fought against the Regulators, and supported the Governor during this revolt. The Regulators and the State militia will ultimately fight one another in 1771. Those supporting the Governor (Tryon) will be offered a military pension for the wounded, as well as other documents provided here. Most (not all) of these men will become founding fathers of the American Revolution for North Carolina.
