Northampton County Road Records (1789-1817) is another 18th century collection (although the records for roads continues in several other boxes - this book contains the oldest) as well as Bridge Records (1785-1839). The bridge records have a great collection of construction details, including dimensions, timber requirements, and manpower. Together, this county collection is another example of "least known" genealogy and history information for other researchers. This book contains images of the original documents, cataloged (table of contents) as well as a detailed index (names are Last, First) including key words (springs, stream names, deceased, orphan, etc.) assisting researchers.
