Spring 2023 UPDATE - I am focusing on Florida research. I am in the middle of Orange County (Florida) Plat Books. These books begin in the 1870s covering Orange, Lake, Seminole, and Osceola Counties. I have downloaded the plats, cut them into smaller images (if required) and then annotated the information on them. Indexed them and ADDED modern maps if it helps location the supposed town etc.
I have completed all the Spanish Land Grants (claims) of Florida by surname. These are claims filed by residents of the Territory of Florida who were under Spanish rule to claim their title. A lot of history is in these records. I am including plats and modern maps so that you can see where these claims were. I can say - after completing 8-volumes, these records contain a lot of genealogy, historical notes, references to old names for creeks and other locales etc. NO ONE has provided land research to the level I have - for these records. Name indexes have been published and you can access the records online. But now you will be able to use a detailed index, database sorts, and a detailed Table of Contents for an in depth review of these early Florida residents. I also published a master index book - which is a compilation of all 8-volumes - indexes - into one. That way you can search all 8-volumes without owning all. In addition I added town specific research for St. Augustine (limited) and Fernandina Old Town (a fair amount of information).
